How to clean laser cutting machine lenses
There are many kinds of laser cutter lenses, such as focusing lenses and protective lenses. But the optical lenses in the laser system are all consumables. In order to extend the service life of the laser cutting machine as much as possible and reduce the cost of use, the laser optical word lenses must be cleaned in strict accordance with this specification. During the replacement process, the optical word lenses should be placed, inspected and installed in such a way as to prevent the lenses from being damaged and contaminated.
Precautions for proper cleaning of laser cutter lenses:
1. When installing the lens, be sure to wear rubber gloves.
2. Disable sharp tools to avoid scratching the surface of the lens.
3. When taking the lens, take the edge of the lens side to avoid touching the membrane layer. The environment for testing and cleaning the lens must be dry and clean.
4. The workbench must be kept neat and tidy.
5. Do not talk in front of the lens to prevent potential contaminants (such as food, drink, etc.) contamination of the lens.
How to clean the laser cutter lens：
1. Blow off the floating dust on the surface of the lens by blowing a balloon.
2. Use pure acetone to gently clean the lens. Cleaning should be completed at once to avoid multiple cleaning to produce wave tendons.
3. If acetone cannot remove all the dirt, use acid vinegar to clean.
When the lens can not be cleaned, in order to ensure the cutting accuracy and service life of the laser cutting machine, be sure to replace the lens, more prevention and maintenance can make the laser cutting machine work longer, more stable, thus bringing more benefits to manufacturers.
